Our Adventures in Amelia Land...

Unlike most couples when it comes to adopting say a dog, or a cat, maybe even a pet snake, Kasey and I took a different approach... We adopted Ali's little sister Amelia as our "pet"!

Haha... Not really, but it sometimes could be perceived as that way. It's an entirely new element for the two of us and she requires food, water, extra love and attention and the no fail diaper changes, similar to having a pet!

Along with all the daily required necessities when we get to babysit her comes also the priceless moments and memories being created each visit. For one, Kasey is becoming quite the master at painting fingernails and playing DJ to Amelia wanting to "dance and shake her lil' booty" every second she's here. We also now have quite the art collection thanks to her beautiful artist skills when it comes to coloring.

The best part however is when Amelia is around the energy and love she brings with her. Millie's visits are a sure invite to Kasey embracing his love for life and the always willing inner child to let loose and dance around singing boom boom pow.

Kasey's first official photo shoot for copykasey.com... Talk about modeling skills!!! My favorite quality about Kasey Kelly is his humility, Kasey even on set kept his coy, hard not to smile, positive energy at all times, (there were even times when Stephanie had to pause till he was done grinning or laughing to get a serious "business man" shot)...

Shopping trip with Kase...

So Kasey and I decided to go on a shopping spree to update his much needed wardrobe composed of only PJ's and long sleeve thermals to a highly recommended (by the beautiful photographer Stephanie) to a fashionable and stylish look for the copykasey photo shoot. I could not wait to show my experience of shopping with Kasey with everyone... First, I couldn't stop laughing, Kasey taking it seriously even for a moment was out of the question; second, this short clip completely portrays the goof-ball, nerd at heart man Kasey really is... Come on, how can you not love him and his positive energy!!!

Lake Tahoe

Ali and I when we were first dating made a list of things we wanted to do together, kinda like a relationship “bucket list”. We look at the list every time we think about it and check off things we have done and plan to do something on the list… well Going to Lake Tahoe came up on the list so we up and went! August 28, 2009
